Tomoyuki Ishikawa established Riverstone Partners in October 2024, based upon over 30 years of experience in real estate debt and equity investment in Japan and the U.S. Most recently, he served as the Head of Tokyo Branch of Prudential Mortgage Capital Company and Head of Japan Debt Business of PGIM for 15 years from January 2009, immediately after the Global Financial Crisis (GFC), to September 2024.

He oversaw and executed Prudential/PGIM’s real estate non-recourse financing totaling over JPY380 billion on behalf of the insurance companies. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan and Lehman Brothers from 1999, when securitization was in its infancy in Japan, to 2008 executing non-recourse financing totaling over JPY220 billion for Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS). He began his career at Nippon Life Insurance Company, where he was involved in its U.S. real estate investments, including six years in the U.S.

He graduated from Waseda University, School of Political Science and Economics.
